Description

 The KNX-RS232/KNX-485 gateway is a KNX device that allows you to exchange data between RS232/RS485 Modbus protocol devices and KNX devices through the KNX bus.

 The KNX-RS232/KNX-485 gateway can manage bidirectional data flow: the KNX network can cyclically read Modbus registers, and their values are sent as communication objects to the group address. 

 Data updates can be done periodically or when Modbus network data changes.

 Similarly, Modbus networks can request cyclic reading of KNX communication objects or obtaining their values. 

 When the value of the loop or communication object changes, data is written to one or more Modbus registers with configured device addresses.

 Baud rate support is optional (2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400, 76800, 115200), parity bits are optional, and 0 to 255 objects can be configured.
